fYI.

I put a yellow top optima in my s in July of 04 and it died last week. I first called optima help line in colorado and they were useless. I then called the distributer that i got it from and they met me with a replacement and provided great service. (this was friday of last week). I could not belive that my car wasn't the issue and the battery was, but the batter failed the load test.

Anyway the new yellow top is installed and hopefully i get more then 6 months out of it.

 

my optima yellow top died just like that after 15 months also,and i have a new normal batter now.
Shame how optima's die.
I would swear that it wouldn't be the batter but it was it.
Anyway not worth the investment.
