Alright, I got a robbins convertable top in Tuesday. It has a glass window with a defroster. The hook up o the window for the defroster is the same as the 2002 and up models would be.

I need to find out how to wire the 2002 up wiring into a 2001 or making the 01 defroster wiring accomodate the 2002 glass.

This is the currently the best picture I have of the connectors on my new window. the two male connectors have the white styro foam on them and in the middle is a black plastic connector.

Found my answer... although I will say I was hoping to have an 2002 dash defroster switch as opposed to a 2001 console defroster switch.
