Default Diamond Audio Vs MB Quart

HI Gang:

Another opinion question, I have used diamond audio for 3 year on my ITR and I love it. Now I just got my S and I need to upgrade the internal speakers.

Which one do you think between DA Vs MB Quart?

Your ears are different from others. I'd say listen to the ones you're considering to see if you like them or not. What sounds good to me, may not sound good to you.

Among others, a/d/s is a good brand as well. But as has been said - your ears are the key thing here. Once you get into the big names (and bucks), it isn't quality (they should all be great construction-wise) so much, but rather how they make you feel.

For example, I grew up with a set of a/d/s home speakers so my ears are tuned to the softer (more delicate?) effect the a/d/s soft-dome tweeters have, rather than the slightly harsh (to my ears) sound that the MB Quarts have. Is one set more musically accurate than the other? I don't know, I just know what I like.

I just installed Dynaudio's, 10" Alumapro in the passenger footwell,
Alpine 7894 and a Brax 2400 amp.

All I can say is that I am VERY happy !!!
