Default Audiobahn, those who have actually owned

Let me start by saying I am under no illusion that Audiobahn is any sort of hi-end product like Dynaudio or Focal but at $30.00 for a set of 6.5" components, would they not at least sound better than factory. My goal (obviously) is not a competition winning system, just a little better sq. I am hoping to get some feedback from people who have used their product, not just Joe-Expert-On-Everything that has heard that they are crap.

Audiobahn makes decent subs. STAY AWAY from their component speakers. They are worthless. i had a set in my Explorer and they sounded better than the stock speakers but the connections on the speakers themselves were weak. My sound kept cuttin in and out and I traced it back to one speaker that the soldered connection came lose on. I spent 3 hrs trying to find it and it was a quatity issue. Do yourslef a favor and get something nicer. Especially in a convertable. If you are looking for something inexpensive look for a set with a high sensitivity so you wont need an amp.
