DLS speakers and amps
My local installer is suggesting I try out DSL products. Check out their website and seems they have won quite a few competitions in recent years. Search here in the electronics forums yields lots of suggestions, but no actual experience.
Anybody running some DLS equipment in their S2k? How do they compare against MBQ and BA? What's the price range?

I am running a full DLS speaker setup in my mazda6 (iridium 3-way front stage, 12" ultimate subs). Excellent sound quality, comparable to dynaudio but a bit more crisp in my opinion. Much easier on the ears than MBQ which can be a bit harsh in the treble, and much better than BA too, again IMO.
How much $ are we talking? Have you heard others from the "ultimate" line? (Nobelium, UR, UP) How many watts would be needed to push a 2-way component set?
Thanks for the info!

the nobellium is a great sounding speaker if you like DLS's type of sound.
the ultimate amplifiers are really nice sounding with a great top end., but a lot of them dont have much balls(dynamics).
i am going to be running 3 DLS A3 dual mono's in my system. i just ordered 2 of them yesterday and should have it by next week.
probably the best sounding amplifier in that price range and lots of power. stable down to 1 ohm bridged, max current draw is 140amps(that is a shit load of power by the way). a lot of the competition guys you the A3 because its a dual monoblock which offers lots of dynamics, headroom and great channel seperation.
