Does anyone have Eclipse cd5442 head unit?????

I'm planning on buying one....just wanted to know if it was a good head unit

I do..I love it..this is my 2nd Eclipse. The sound is awesome. I did put a amp on it because it only has 200watts max..and my speakers *infinity Kappa* will take 100 watts continous all day. The sound is soo good. Its like having Harmon Karden for your car.

How did it sound without the amp? I have an 02 HU (30wx4) with upgrade front's and rears installed but am looking for a head unit with more power. Is the 50wx4 a big difference? Does it work with your dash controls? .... etc
