Does the optional stock alarm have a separate siren and shock sensor ?
When I bought my MY 00 Honda Civic Si, I asked the dealer to put an alarm in that would work with the Honda keyless remote (so I don't have to carry around 2 different fobs on the keychain). When I took delivery of the car, the car had a separate siren (not the car's horn) and had shock sensing and the alarm worked with the stock factory keyless fob. When I posted about this on ClubSi.com bb, people had asked me how I had that done since everyone else's optional stock alarm that was put in worked with just the car's horn and had no shock sensing. I looked at my alarm manual and found out the brand name is Omega. I'm just curious how my dealer got an aftermarket alarm system to work with the stock keyless remote. Maybe my dealer just did their own thing and didn't follow the standard alarm install.
So, I'm wondering if this is the same with the S2000 optional alarm system. Does it work with just the car's horn or does it have a dedicated siren and shock sensor as well? If not, then maybe I can get my dealer to do the same thing when I get the S2k.

No and no. It has glass breakage sensor.

Get the WLaurent alarm if you want a shock sensor, a dual zone motion sensor and the ability to use factory remotes.
