Does Pioneer make high end componentry?
Found a new installer in my hometown tha people rave about but he only sells Pioneer.

 

It's called Premier (for car audio) or Elite (for home use). I use what was their flagship amp PRS-x720 as my sub amp in my other car. VERY under-rated, puts out about 2 times the rated power (hence the name...)

The Premier head units are supposed to be top notch as well. I don't know how their components are, but I would definitely not use their subs though, utter crap.

 

yeah, i have some of Pioneer's Elite gear for my home setup... very high quality gear, especially for the money.

the Premier car gear also seems quite nice... i've had several friends who've have their headunits, and they have only raved about them.

yes, but i wouldn't buy them.

this is one of those companies that sell speakers to fill the hole in their lineup, not because their speakers are good. i'd go w/ those Kicker components over these anyday.

but once again, you should listen to your speaker choices before making any final decisions.

 

I have heard pretty good things about this pioneer subs for the last couple of years. They have apparently improved them. They are said to be good speakers for the price $50-65. But like PJK3 said, spend 10.00 more and get some Kickers.

Their high end "electrical" components are very good, though.
