Does anyone know the appropriate size screwdriver/hex socket to use on the dome light screws? The screws on mine were really tight, I'm afraid I'll strip the screw using the wrong size screwdriver.

I've got the same issue, the screws are done up ridiculously tight.

Just wanted to bump this up. Is there a reason to even remove the sliding button portion? I did that but then realized you could wipe down the contacts pretty good from leaving it in place.

Go to the Under the Hood Forum. FAQ, DIY, Maintenace; blue stickies at top. Scroll down to Electrical & Electronic Stuff". Scroll to bottom : "Cleaning Dome Light Contacts".

I've also had to replace my door switches recently as well.
