i know time warner roadrunner changes the IP on a user every several months.

as stated, it's different for each ISP, though most you can call and request an IP change. and some are as simple as shutting down the old modem for 24 hours. it's all completely dependent upon your ISP.

and yes, generally, dialup users get a new IP every time they dial up.

even if shifty does show his face again, hopefully he will be more modest and think twice before giving "advice" on these kinds of subjects.

i still just can't believe he didn't follow his own advice. a monkey could have found that keyless remote module, and seen that it has a green/grey wire coming out of it. by the way macguyver I believe is the one who originally told me that was the door pin wire. i've also since then seen it in the ETM..

edit: green/grey/yellow. forgot the yellow even though it was in my original post.

I was honestly going to let you all continue to live life in a lie, but since you had to bring it up again for the third time, I cant help myself.

I have a very clear picture Im going to be posting tomorrow...if I dont get banned by then...that will clearly show the harness DIRECTLY at the keyless module and that there is in fact no green wire with a gray stripe as you state. The only green wire in the keyless harness has a yellow stripe. I seriously hope you're not confusing the two silver dots that are on every wire in that harness with a stripe. Its pretty hard to miss green with a yellow stripe, unless your colorblind.

So, I guess by this time tomorrow, hopefully sooner, you'll be wrong for the third straight time and Ill be banned for being right... again.

If I were you, to save face, I would seriously have another look at the harness plugged into the keyless module...

Also, Wisconsin...I believe you said:
YOU GAVE COMPLETELY WRONG INFORMATION!!!!
The door pin wire running into the keyless remote module is GREEN with GREY stripes!
You're giving poor and incorrect information
Do not post further "help" because I think you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Heck...why not go outside right now and take a clearer picture of the keyless harness, directly at the module so theres no confusion.

Unless Honda likes to change wire colors in between years, which I seriously doubt, you'll be owing me an apology sir.

Im never wrong when it comes to vehicle wiring...never.

Oh, to hold you over...heres the S2000 alarm/security schematic from DEI's website...but let me guess, they're wrong too...

http://www.directechs.com/directwire/print...Remote%20Start#

...notice what it says for the door trigger and parking lights...

of course...who else gets banned for being right?

Whats funny is that the second note on the stickies for this section says please dont post incorrect facts.

I guess Wisconsin skipped over that one when reading...

Hmmm, lets see...I do installs for Circuit City...we have access to our roadshop wiring guides as well as the DEI tech sheets.

After doing numerous installs of the same vehicle, you get to know quite a bit of the colors/cars by memory. I dont know them all, but I know a fair bit.

I just posted that sheet to actually verify that Im not a troll, I know what Im talking about and your homeboy is way out of line.

Picture will be up soon...then we'll see whos the real troll.
