drivers door lock
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct topic location, however.... My drivers door lock will not unlock correctly. The remote will unlock it, then it locks once again within seconds. I can't even get out of the car without, using the key on the outside of the door and only then, will the latch work. Without using the key outside, the latch doesn't do anything. The manual lock on the inside, also does nothing.
Would really appreciate being pointed int eh right direction.

Did you just get the car or is this a new issue? I recently went through the hoops of installing an aftermarket alarm system and learned we have a very strange door lock system. It is whats called a 5 wire system. When you press unlock it switches polarity and sustains it, then switches polarity back to lock. Still trying to understand it better, but look under neath your driver side dash. Behind the start button there is a black rectangular box that is the keyless entry module. See if any of the wires have been tampered with

Is the driver side door the only side doing it? Sounds like the driver side actuator has failed internally. It is supposed to hold the opposing polarity until switch back to lock/unlock. I would replace it. The new honda accord (08-up) have issues with all of the actuators doing as you describe.
