I used B-Quiet Ultimate, bought 100 sq feet from ebay for $240(shipped), double layered everything, and was short for the driver side door. I will probably need another 30 feet or so(about 20 or so for the door, and 10 for elsewhere)....so if that gives you a decent estimate. I do not know how much more/less you would need for dynamat though.

theres many discussion about it in the electronics forum if you take a quick look and many have posted their opinions of before/after.

The quick answer....Is yes, it makes a difference, and I believe it is worth it. I also enjoyed doing it for the most part. Also, the more layers you add, the more its going to cut out sound, but add weight. So, you need to find your own happy medium.
Personally, I think there's probably nothign wrong with doing 3 layers to the door, since i large amt of cabin noise occurs through this area. 2 layers to cabin is fine for me, since that area is large and requires a lot of mat(i.e. weight). And the trunk needs 2 in case of subwoofer.
Good luck. Read some articles, you'll be happy you did
