Default Eclipse CD5435 Head Unit

I made a mistake of plugging in a tire pump into the power outlet. I blew the fuse for the outlet which is connected to the head unit. I promptly replaced the fuses with the extra fuses available from the S2k. Now my head unit is not working properly. I can't pick up radio reception and when I plugged in my ipod or play it with the CD, the music has no bass and static. It sounds like has not enough power output. I am not sure...

This head unit model is Eclipse CD5435. I am not sure what happened to it and need help. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't know if this may help but, I had a case where my radio was all static and then when I disconnected the battery, pressed the brake (to power drain pretty much) and connected the battery again, it worked fine... i don't know if this will work.

how many fuses did you have to replace? and which ones?

..... this may be completely backwards but did u check the back of the HU? Usually, there is a fuse on there. I don't think that could be the case, but if all else fails maybe give it a look

I replaced two fuses. One of the radio and for the power outlet. Luckily, there were two spares in there. Thank for the tip. I think the power source is fine. It might be the amp that is burnt on the head unit...

There is an external fuse on the back of the head unit. It looked fine. The radio controls are fine just the output has so much static. The cd seems to play but weak sound but i can't barely pick any radio reception...
