Eclipse CD7000
This face seems pretty f'in cool.....
I have a CD8053 and I really was looking for something with Ipod control.....but If I buy a new face I kinda want nav too.....(if im gunna spend the $$ I might as well get it all at once....)
BUT....I don't know about cutting the dash....sooo I came accross this....seems like it has a ton of awesome features....

The nav feature is not a true navigation system. What is required is that you pre-plan your route on your computer and then load it onto the head unit through either CD or memory stick.
During use, the system tracks your location along the preplanned route using static pictures that your pointer moves on. When you reach the end of the screen it changes the picture depending on which direction you went.
That is why they do not tout it as navigation but call it "Area Shot"
It's a nice head unit that's for sure. The OLED display is very nice but to me not worth the extra price.
I personally went with the CD5000 for the better pre-amp outputs. Also I don't particularly care for the Multi-function button on the CD7000. It feels a bit flimsy. The CD5000 is also bit lacking, however, because the dials are too sensitive, but a modifry DCI solves that for me.
