You don't have the constant +12V hooked up behind the new HU.

No, no. His dash is resetting. Blew a fuse I'll bet or pulled a wire loose.

Thought the constant +12 to the HU was connected to the +12 to the dash... This is why the heat/ac controls reset when you remove your HU...

Honestly..

That depends on how electronically savvy you are...lol

If you don't feel comfortable with working on the electronics, I would go back... But, then, I have a hard time trusting people that messed up a job the first time around...

Who put the stereo in? If it's some random monkeys at a big bix store like Best Buy or Visions, then you're pretty much boned.

As someone else said, if those asshats can't figure out how to do a simple install, then they'll be even worse at troubleshooting a model-specific electrical problem. Seriously though, I dunno why you wouldn't just try it yourself. There are really thorough how-to guides posted on s2ki that'll walk you through a deck install and ipod cable routing etc. I just installed a deck + ipod cable into my car a week and a half ago. It took me about an hour and a half, which is probably less time that you'd have to wait for them to do it. This is also the first time I've worked on an S2000...

so if anything happens to the car cause they fixed it they are gonna pay ;P and i also was thinking to go there and let them install my new AEM V2 intake i just bought...do you know i better place to go for that at west edmonton?

Well I can tell you this... I wouldn't go back to that shop... If they can't install a HU in your car they pretty much suck. A HU install for a guy that knows what he's doing might take 30 minutes... 45 if they are routing the iPod wire. There is no reason to do anything but plug in the harness... Its pretty crazy that your dash is resetting.
