Actually I am at 5 to 1 - 2x50 for my fronts (or rears) = 100W and 400 - 500W for my subs.

They might want you to max each channel as to prevent the amp being unbalanced. I have heard that even Adcom's home equipment does not like being unbalanced.

You know what you need to do -- add another e8A and the nine.1 amp from eD!!!

if he could fit, yeah that's a great idea that amp is around 1000 watts @ 1 ohm

and to be honest, i bet you could sell that Kicker amp for decent money, there are still people out there that revere that amp, as they should those amps are very good.

but i wouldn't give up just yet, i think some active cooling should help things.

i'm thinking active cooling is probably going to be my answer. even if i have to rebuild the amp rack top, add some ports for fans, and cut back on the plexi. i've got enough MDF and carpet for another top. i have the hardest part figured (size and curves), so it's just a matter of cutting out fans...

i'm going to see if i can solve it w/ some spacers and that one fan... we'll see...

im thinking now that i need more power for my e8, or do an in cabin install. because i hooked my e8 up to my amp, but w/o a box just to see if it worked ok. and it barely moves, at levels my 10" goes crazy. the sub seems like itd definitly be suited for an incabin install and more power.
