I have an ap1 without the factory tweeters. I am looking to install a component set and would like to install the tweeters into the factory location. I saw a thread from 2010 mentioning that the pods could be bought from Honda and made to fit on the early model door panels. Anyone know where to find the factory pods? I can't find them on any of the parts diagrams I've looked at.

Why do you need the factory tweeter pods?

 

I was under the impression that they would be required to install the component set, and look factory.

Just punch a tweeter hole (1-1.25") depending on the mfg. No need for the pods.
