flippin' CD Player!
I realize that the stock audio system in the car is a total piece of crap in every way. However, I do my serious listening at home and thus I just put up with what is in the car. I found though that over time, the CD player is developing problems with skipping and cutting out. I cannot reproduce this every time, but it occurs often enough to be very irritating. I also know that it is not the CD as it happens with many different CDs over time and the discs are not dirty. Are others having problems like this with the CD? Is this something I should look at for warranty or do you think I just need to get it cleaned?
Thanks.
Thanks.
My stock CD Player skipped once in a while when I went over monsterous pot holes. I've had my 2001 S2000 for 1 and 1/2 years now. I just replaced it with a Pioneer 740 MP3 Disc player. I realize I should have done this a long time ago. It has 200 Watts vs. 15 watts in the stock unit. The Display is AMAZING . I also relaced the door speakers and installed woofers in their place and tweeters in the window pillars near the dash. THE SOUND IS FRIGGIN INCREDIBLE NOW. I have invested a total of 500 Dollars in equipment for a very satisfying system.
