I recently installed a pair of Focal 165K2 speakers. These are much brighter and clearer than my stock '02 tweeters. I set the tweeter level dip switch in the crossover box to -2dB, but I think I'm going to have to try the -4dB position. The sound is a little piercing at times in the -2dB position. I wanted to ask where you set yours before taking off my door panels to adjust mine.

Did you put the tweeters in the stock location, behind the plastic "grill"? I drilled the grill part out, and put the flush mount Focal cup inside the stock tweeter pod. So I'm using the, I assume, more transparent Focal tweeter grill, which might make mine brighter in the -2dB setting. How are you powering yours?

Do you have pictures of your install? I have been trying to decide what to do with my old tweeters, and that was an option that I had thought of.
