found these in my car.....

Default found these in my car.....





can any one tell me what I am looking at here? it is from the previous owner and im thinking its for an amp?

I am looking to purchase an amp soon, so would this mean i need no wiring?

That looks like an amp connection. It appears the wire hanging down from the right would be the ground. The red and white RCA are input feeds from who knows what. You will have to track those down behind the receiver in the dash. The red wire on the left would be the power. The coiled and zip tied wire would probably be the speaker cable used to hook up the the speakers. If they are attached to nothing on either end, I would say a sub. The blue and white in the back I am unsure of, and the red in the foreground is probably a remote turn on lead for the amp. Is the stock HU in place or is it aftermarket?

I would imagine my guess is pretty damn close, but you will want to run down the remote turn on and the RCA leads behind the HU in place. The power cable will be connected to the positive lead on the battery under the hood so check it. The ground cable will be unattached on anything on one end and then bolted to the car on the other.

yes.... the other owner had an amp and sub in that car... less money you have to spend

The blue/white is probably the remote turn on lead.
