Front Speakers- Please Help - Adire, Oz, PG
I'm looking for new front speakers. Right now, I'm only considering 3 different models. I'd like advice on what will fit with the Lucid adapters and what you recommend.
Adire Audio Koda
Oz Audio 180 CS
Phoenix Gold Titanium Elite
The speakers will be mounted in stock locations and powered with 150 watts each from a Zapco Studio 300x. My goal is to fit speakers with excellent bass response and a smooth tweeter that will have a very well balanced sound in stock locations for under $400. I'm running Dynaudios right now in my other car- I really love them, but they're too much $$ for the S2000 and the tweeter would be a little weak for a convertable(IMO). I'd like to do a high end system on a low end budget.

You can look into the Phoenix Gold Ti's or the Alphasonik 6.5inch components. (200wrms)
The Phoenix Golds are pretty shallow, so mouting should not be an issue. There is a deal on the Alpha's right now.
Check out the Deals Of the week thread on the top of the electronics section.

Whatever I choose, I'll probably also use the subwoofer from the same company. That would mean an Adire Audio Brahma, Oz Audio Matrix Elite, or Phoenix Gold titanium elite subwoofer. Maybe this will help with comments.
The Brahma has the highest excursion followed closely by the Phoenix Gold, but it requires a .5 cu ft smaller box! The Oz Audio subs are also some of the best subs you can buy.
The Koda's are 3" deep, the Oz Audio 180CS are 2.625" deep, and the Phoenix Golds are 2.2" deep. Their prices are $349, $300, and $370 respectively. Retail is $349, $620, and $800. RMS power ratings are 100w, 150w, and 300w.
They all use silk dome tweeters and are designed for high levels of linearity. The Koda's are designed to be used in stock locations.

Zapco Studio 300x for the fronts
150x2 @ 4 ohms
For the sub, I've been considering a Zapco Comp 600 that I've heard about(900W x 1 @ 2ohms). My other car already has a Zapco Studio 500 and two Comp 200's.
