Fuel Pump Kill Switch information?

That's freakin awesome! Never thought of wiring it like that. I had been tempted to pick up an '06+ center console and using the VSA switch for this, though.

Using 8ga to the stock fuel pump would probably be overkill. I wouldn't recommend bothering with doing this unless you're planning on running a hardcore fuel pump later on (to back up a turbo/SC kit).

ok just to refresh me, relay has power/ground for relay. power that passes thru relay for my pump, and a wire for turning relay on and off.

sound right? i need to do something like this. s2k is way to easy to steal

on a standard bosch style relay you have 5 post, 2 for triggering relay +&-) and then 2 connected until relay activates connecting one of the first to the the last post

nice, thanks for the link. going to radioshack to pick up a relay. 40 amp relay is way more then enough?

You could use a 15A. It's easy to figure the load on an automotive relay. Just check the fuse size for that circuit in the fuse panel.
