I am running the wires for my Escort 8500 Smart Cord, and wondered if anyone had a good suggestion to find a grounding point under the dash. I picked up hot from the fuse box for the Accessory Outlet.

There should be a spot very near there where you'll find multiple black wires bolted to the car's frame. That's the grounding point to use.

 

Yeah, it's to the left of fusebox. You'll need an extension to reach it unless you have pretty small hands.
