Default Hands Free Phone Kit

Hi,

I know that you're a knowledgeable lot & wonder if anyone knows how to get the power to install a Hands Free Kit. I've looked at the fuse box but don't know the best place to take the power from.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

What I would do is find the fuse that powers the radio. Then buy your self a fuse tap kit from the Auto parts store. This is a little contraption that plugs into the fuse slot and provides two fuses and a wire coming out of it. One fuse will protect both the radio circuit and the new accesory. The second fuse will just protect the new accesory. Then, find a good ground somewhere near by. Usualy the bolt that holds the fuse pannel itself is a good enough ground for this purpose.

This is how I had added the XM kit in my wifes car.Convenient because there is no cutting or permanent modification to be done.
