Default Some Help with Hard Wiring a Radar?

Hi everyone

I picked up a hardwire kit for a Beltronics Radar on Ebay but cannot seem to find where I can install the AC connector into the fuse box!!

I spent a few hrs reading all the forum posts on hard wiring radars, but with the connectors that came with my kit, i am utterly confused!

Here's the kit that I purchased, and if any expert can point me in the right direction, I will be forever grateful!

I haven't done any sort of wiring in the s2000 before

Thanks

I have a feeling the connector that comes with this kit isn't compatible with the fusebox? It also came with a T-tap but I don't know if that's even useful....

can i tap into the overhead light wire with the t-tap?

You need to cut off whatever is on the end of the 12V+ wire, attach a female quick connect, and slide it onto the fusebox male.

thanks NFR, I will do as suggested. I can purchase this female connector pretty easily at a local Radioshack maybe?

takeshi, I did check out that site but for the kit that I purchased, i didn't have the proper connectors so I was confused as to how I would apply what I saw with the kit that I got.

female connector can be purchased at any autoparts store as well. good luck! it's not hard at all the put it on. I was able to install my escort 8500 in about 15 minutes using a hacked up phone cord.
