Default Have Radio Code

Hi, i bought an 00' s2k about a week ago. Today i added an amp and switched out my components, but when i went to enter my radio's code, it just displays an error. The code i used was found on a card, in the same ziplock bag as my owners manual. The card says radio code on it, with a 5 digit number (which was the one i entered a couple times), and a serial number or something. What should i do? Ideas? I searched around the forums, and found a couple things about a fuse being blown or something. Hum. Help! lol

pull the radio out, get the serial number. call a dealership they will tell you your radio code. after 10 tries i think, the radio locks up for an hour ( i think)

Push the buttons slowly, when you push it, there's a counter that counts down. When I entered it the first time, it said error to me too, then the second time it worked.

found out what it was, heh. I pulled the HU out and found that the code card the dealer gave me didn't match the serial number on the HU. So i just ran up to the dealership and they ran the new code for me. Kinda makes me mad though. Oh well.
