I don't know whether AP2s use the same colors in the factory harness as AP1s, but they
use the same connector, so you can use the chart on MacGyver's page which shows the
positions as well as colors to figure it out.
However, if you need to know in order to install an aftermarket headunit, I'd recommend
using an adapter harness like a Metra 70-1721 rather than cutting the car's harness. Note
that many adapter harnesses are missing the S2000-specific dash control wires. If you plan
on using a Modifry DCI, you can buy the proper harness from Modifry with all wires.

I've never actually worked on a s2000 with factory rear speakers but I'm sure that the rear speaker wiring is missing on the s2000.

Only the 06+ has the small speaker in the roll hoops. There was an option in the earlier models for a speaker pod that sat inside the roll hoop.

Does any one know for a DBW AP2 if I can tie 4x6 speakers into the same wires going to the teeny tiny roll hoop speakers? Would I be better off tapping into the harness at the back of the head into, and using the above pin out diagrams?
