So i went to install my new head unit in my s2k and to my surprise i found that the past owner decided to cut the wire harness off and just soder the new head unit right to that, and save a whopping 10$ on purchasing a wiring harness and doing it the right way. So i go to wire my head unit up and it wont even turn on now. So some how i messed up the wiring and im not sure what the problem is. Does anyone have a picture of what wires are what? im at a loss here.

 

Freaken stupid people... who the hell does that now-a-days. Sorry you found the one moron that thinks that's the right way to wire a car... You're best bet is to get out your meter and start testing. But did you check the 2 fuses to make sure you didn't blow any in the process?

Thanks for the help guys i got it working . so happens that when i put the new head unit it and turned the volumn up the speakers would cut out. So now im like WTF again. So i check the amp that the previous owner put in that powers the speakers and it was only at like 50% power. Cranked it all the way up and now im golden. . now i just gotta figure out how to wire the sub i wanna put in.
