headunits

I want to change my headunit and i am debating between the Eclipse CD8455 or the Alpine CDA9855. The debate i have is which one is better? And which one is better to have for a serious system?

I like the Eclipse. I like the 24 bit converter, as well as the 8V pre-outs.

i've been a pretty serious Alpine guy for a while, but hate the slide thing on the new Alpine's.

either way, i don't think you can go wrong.
