Default Help; Electrical Problems. Windows, Brakes, Honk

Hey guys

My speakers used to not work. When the car wasn't driving, the speakers used to play music without a problem; when I started to drive it would crackle or break down, but while making a left-turn the sound would be clear again.

I have an amp in the back; so I moved that around. Now, speakers work all the time! Yay!

But now, my break lights don't work, honk doesn't work, and now my passenger window won't go up again.

Ahhh

Help please.

id start by checking all the fuses, and also check that all connections on the amp are tight. i had the same thing happen to me, sound cutting out when making turns/driving. turned out to be the power lead loose on my amp.

Kay...the fuses are right under the steering wheel, correct?

I'm gonna re-check all the connections to that damn amp.

Thank you Sir

Could just remove the power from the amp all together at the battery... and then check the systems... at least you an rule out the amp or pin point the problem...

first problem was due to pinched or badly connected speaker cables that were shorting out.

it is possible that when you moved the amp around, the cables have streched or pinched some of the other wires thus causing you all the current problems. It is best to seek for professional help or someone with electrical knowledge to help your measure and diagnose the wires.

Hey guys,

Fixed the honk and brakes. It was a bad fuse.

Now, the passenger window will not go up. If will only go down, and stay down......the funny thing is..you can't control it from my side, or its own side...you can only make it go down when you put the roof UP OR DOWN.....then it will only go down...same with my side of the window, but I can make it go up again.

I dunno..maybe window regulator?

if it was the regulator it would never go up/down, did you look at the child safety/rapist switch ?
