To those that have purchased the optional harness for the DCI installation - did you trim the wires or use then as you recieved them?
I bought an Alpine 9857 and recieved the DCI and harness today. Next will be the RCA's, 4 wire speaker wires (doors) power (and 10 gage ground) cables. Sometime soon I'll have to start the installation

I just used the length that was there on all of the wires. I was able to snake the DCI out under the driver's dashboard. Im going to tape it under the dash as one of my last steps.
