Help diagnose amplifier problem
I lost audio yesterday and it appears that my JL amplifier no longer has power. With the car on the Power and Fault lights on the amp are not lit. I believe it is an A6450.
So far I've verified there are 12+ volts at the main power cable and with the car on the Remote lead has ~4 volts.
Is there some other test I should do from here? Am I looking at a fuse in the amp being blown or possibly the amp itself is shot?
Any assistance with this problem would be appreciated.

I found the manual online. I guess I have a problem with voltage from the remote lead?
"The A6450 uses a conventional +12V remote
turn-on lead, typically controlled by the source
unit's remote turn-on output. The amplifier will
turn on when +12V is present at its “Remote”
input and turn off when +12V is switched off. If
a source unit does not have a dedicated remote
turn-on output, the amplifier’s turn-on lead can
be connected to +12V via a switch that derives
power from an ignition-switched circuit."

I'm getting these odd readings:
12v - Amp power to amp ground with car off
4v - Amp power to amp ground with the car on
12v - Amp power to a different grounding point with the car on
4v - Remote power to amp group with car on
12v - Remote power to a different ground with car on.
I just moved the ground to a different point on the car, and the problem remains the same at the new grounding point.
It looks like the remote lead is fine because I can get 12v through that too.
What could be the problem here? Something else shorting out?
