I'm trying to get the following devices to turn on once the ignition is on Accessory:

1.) Hardwired Escort 8500
2.) Power Male connection from 12V power plug

It seems that from the hot plugs in the fuse box underneath the driver's dash, only one goes HOT when you go to ignition accessory.

Any ideas on how I can get both power male connections from two devices to go HOT on turning the ignition to accessory?

 

A friend of mine just recently did the same to his. Fromw hat I know he cut the wire and spliced it to the other and just grounded it normally. Its powering his itrip. I'm sure sticking to the concepts of electricity there are many ways of doing it. Just as long as its making contact.
