Ok i finally got all the equipment i needed..

I got a JL audio 10w6 and a Jl 450/4 with two JL audio 6.5 for the door panels

JL all the way.. cept for the stock headunit which i will use the line output converter

I'm planning to bridge channel 1and2 for the sub and channel 3&4 for the door speakers..

Should i use the 4 channel LOC output or the 2 channel LOC output for this setup?

Any suggestions on how to connect the line output converter to the headunit then into the amp would be good

 

You bought all JL equipment and you're going to run it all with a stock head unit? That's like buying a racing car and running it on all-season radials.

 

Common at least give me a break i'm still in highschool and only work like 20-22 hours a week.. plus the Stock HU so i can keep the DCI

New cd player is like 300-400+100 for DCI

So should i get the 4 channel line converter or the 2 channel for my setup?

I still think you're going about this the wrong way, but reverse logic seems to be the thing with today's youth.

I don't know anything about the output converters so hopefully someone else could help you there. I just hope you like what you get with all this stuff.

I wouldn't mind having those JL 6.5s myself.

 

Does anyone have a 00-01 S that has a system with a stock HU that could give me some pointers on how to install this? I'm planning to tap into the two unused rear speakers line on my 01 HU and getting a line out converter to get both the rear and front channel into my amp which will power the JL subs and speakers
