Default Help with install of Kenwood KSC-SW1

I bought a Kenwood KSC-SW1 for my car, and am trying to install it properly.

It has RCA inputs, and my CD deck has three sets of RCA outputs (1 set attached to cables that say Rear Output, and two more sets on the back of the deck itself). I tried plugging the SW1 into each set of outputs, and I get nothing. No power at all it seems.

Am I doing something wrong? It also has a place to plug in speaker wire.

Please bear with me here. I know VERY little about car stereo stuff.

EDIT: I think I have it figured out...but I'll say for sure when it's all hooked up.

Did you connect the remote turn on lead from the HU?

And make sure the HU is set to turn on the SUBW output if it has that option.

Yeah, that was my problem, there's a wire called the power control adaptor or something that needs to be plugged into the accessory line.

Got it all figured out. The unit sounds decent considering the price and size.
