Default Help me out guys PLEASE

I know this isn't for the S but i could still use your help

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have an 05 mazda6s V6, its manual. It has an Audiovox Prestige Platinum (APS-997N) remote starter. The clutch has been bypassed by the previous owner so the remote start will work, he showed it to me and it worked fine. Now I'm trying to do it and the electronics all turn on but the car doesn't, it does this 3 times then the remote beeps and says inhibit?

Sounds like your immobilizer bypass. Depending on what they used, the spare key could of shifted, it could have lost programming, or it has a bad connection cause the wires where not soldered.

To confirm its a bypass issue, insert key in ign, do not turn and try to remote start car. If it starts, its definitely it.

if you can start the car with the key, its your bypass module. there are 2 types, keyed and keyless... the keyless bypass module has a really high fail rate. And the fix is simple... just unplug the brain and plug it back in... it should fix it. If it is a keyed module, you may have a bad bypass module... in then you would just replace.

Spoke to audiovox customer service (who suck) and they said i need to bring it to a dealer (without even trying to help). He said something about the stock car security bypass? This stuff is a different language to me, I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could help me out with this!

Its an (APS-997n) model audiovox prestige platinum.
