Default Help with starting my audio build

So i have had my stock 03 S for almost a week and definitely want to start my audio build. I have no budget tho haha but i can make money here and there. I was concerned because the car is small but when i looked on here and some of the builds i realized there are 50 different directions i could take this. The audio is bone start and right now I have about $100 BUT i have 2 1000 watt kicker amps and two 12" Kick L5 soloberics. I really think this is two much so i plan on selling those and getting money out of the.

I have many questions lol so let me start!

1. Where should I start? Im thinking of doing things in this order: Door speakers, head unit, S pods (if those are even around anymore i dont know much about them), trunk subs, and last would be any of the crazy custom stuff that might require cutting.

2. I already have a smaller kicker 4 channel amp and I was thinking of the alpine 6.5 type R speakers for the door but i heard they have problems with mounting depth. How do I get around that, or is there a better/ same quality speaker that wouldnt take any mods to fit in the door.

3. Can you still buy S pods.

4. Which head unit should i buy? Nothing fancy. I just need an aux cord but id like it to have a nice look and have a simple interface.

5. Is there anything else i should take a look at? The entire car is ABSOLUTELY stock and i wasnt planning on doing much if any performance mods. Just cosmetics. What else could i do that would make the car awesome without it appearing to be ricey?

This will be a VERY slow build lol and i realize this.
Thanks!

1. Do things in this order

a. Head Unit
b. Speakers
c. Amps
d. Sub
e.s-pods - never.

2. I have Alpine Type-Rs in my doors with spacers fitted, though they are older versions, but they are excellent.
3. don't bother - spend the money on better front speakers
4. Head unit, find one from a manufacturer you like at the price you want - too many to make recommendations
5. Sound deadening - makes a lot of difference for very little outlay.

Shop around. "Nice look" and "simple interface" are both highly subjective. What one considers nice looking with a simple interface the next might not.
