Default Hiding wires in trunk

For those with subs in the tool kit area, how did you guys hide those wires? Do you just lift the liner up and hide it underneath? I was thinking about getting like a muz mat and just use that to hide the wires.

I installed a cd changer in the tool well, and I took the trunk liner out and ran the wires under it. I padded the lip where the wires drop into the trunk well...edge seemed a little rough. Also, I taped the cable down in a couple of places so it stayed where I wanted it. A small cut-out in the liner to bring the cable through, completely hidden by the tool case for a clean installation.
