Default How do I remove rollbar enclosure?

I'm trying to install rear speakers and I need to bring the wire up the bottom between the front and back enclosure. I removed everything up to the rear panel. What's the best way to get a wire though there? Anyone have pictures? Thanks.

Do you mean the rear panels or the rollbars themselves?

If you are installing s-pods: you've got to take off the panel below the roll bars. The hooks have screws behind them. take those screws out/ remove panel. Then you need to break the seal of the rollbar. Firmly strike the section you wish to open. Use two screwdrivers to pry open the space and hold it open. Then you can wire up your spods.

Thanks Willie,
How do I break the seal? Do I hit it from behind or down right at the crack?

now worries, scanman.

I hit mine down right on the crack. the seal will break, but the rollbar will not immediately open up. You will hear a pop! then you pry it open with the screwdrivers. i covered mine with electrical tape to not scratch the finish. Be firm, but not violent.

i used a coathanger to fish the speaker wire down. Take out your spare and you will be able to work better from the trunk.

It's a minor PIA, but do-able.
