I'm going to upgrade the audio and I am
considering put in the following:
1-Sony CDX-MP450X CD Receiver with MP3 Playback
2-Infinity Kappa 63.1i
3-Sony ES XM-1902GX 150W x 2 Car Amp

I'm not that great on the car audio but this looks like
a good system,
IF ANYONE can point me in a better DIRECTION
PLEASE DO
If I spend themoney I want to do this RIGHT.

thanks for the HELP

the amp is a bit much for just two speakers. you really only need about 25-50 X 2. make sure you have some type of crossover, the speaker tends to distort w/ low bass played at high volumes.

I saw a couple of sony amps on crutchfield's that had crossovers and equalizers built in that were cheaper than the ES and a little closer to your wattage range. Check those out instead!

One question is whether or not you plan to add a subwoofer later. If so, you may want to consider a 4/3/2 channel amp to give you more options.
