Hello all,
So im installing my MP-6800, and everything was going great. I plugged it in and it doesnt turn on. I reset it and still, nothing. So I tried installing my stock one back in, and NOTHING! no power, no nothing. I looked at the fuses and they are all good. But then I looked at the battery, and before I pulled the harness out of the the stock unit (for the first time) I didnt have the battery unhooked. is there a power cut off to the head unit if the battery is still hooked up? Or an I overlooking something? let me know ASAP please. Thank you.

 

Did you check both fuses?

The radio fuse and the accessory fuse? Plug something into the accessory port and see if it works. I would bet that's it.
