For $400 I did something a little different. I added a set of speaker pods, and some infinity R series components. The total was a little under $400, and the sound improvement is phenomenal, especially with the top down. I don't know any other $400 upgrade that will have such a drastic effect.
The stock head unit powers them pretty well, although an upgraded head unit/amp is in my future plans.

so what are the component speakers you guys would recommend me? are JL Audio XR650 CS good? or boston pro series?( ones that tweeters is having sale on) also if i get these on with stock HU, will it be not worth spending? would i HAVE to have a aftermarket HU in order for it to produce their true power?

You shouldn't run any high end components (maybe the very entry level at best) off of a Head Unit. It doesn't have the power to drive the speakers effectively enough to get quality sound out of them. You could go from a stock HU to an amp then to the speakers, that'd be ok. Just remember, an aftermarket HU will always give you a cleaner signal and won't distort/clip your amp as much.
