Default Need some advice

ok so i want some speakers that will handle more volume, some good bass, and clarity. I am just thinking of component's and an amp. no sub and stock HU. Do you think some decent components and amp will satisfy my needs?

So i was thinking about:
Focal 165 KPS + decent amp (suggestions? JL?)
or
Infinity Kappa 60.7cs + decent amp (suggestions?)

i know there's a big difference between the two Focal and Infinity brands. I've read around and i feel that it would be the best bet for what i want in speakers, but it's kinda pricey. anyone have any possible suggestions for a second route/setup? I'm thinking about $350 at most for speakers and whatever amp that will be sufficient enough to drive the speakers. Or if Focals would be my best bet i will go that route.

Nathan

Either one... I'd also consider alpine type X ref , or type R components. as for an amp get a 300/4 amp... it's a 4 channel , but I can almost promise you you'll get a sub eventually and it's better to be set now than have to by another amp later. Now if your absolutly sure you don't want a sub , get the 350/2

I'd post my thoughts, but...

I've got a loose connection somewhere (probably the HU power wire) and my HU won't turn on. Somehow the fact that my system's jacked right now makes it harder to offer my meandering thoughts on what you should get...lol
