If you really want to save some $$ ....
Trav's Rear Speaker Upgrade
There's an endless debate back and forth between the SPods and rear speakers in the panels, a search will lend MUCH. If you have mild-ish tastes just adding speakers to the panels will probably make you fully happy as it increases volume enough to easily hear the stereo at highway speeds w/ the top down.
Good Luck, Travis

Definitely go with rear speakers and an aftermarket HU (which you can just take back out when you return it) because those rear speakers and a better HU will make a world of difference. As for the pannels, yes they have to be cut but lucid sells the whole kit so basically all you gotta do is plug and play.

I personally went for the S-Pods, not a cheap solution, but they are supposed to sound unbelievable. (I have not installed mine yet.) As for you, I would probably go for a cheap set of speakers from Lucid, that way you can utilize all 4 channels and gains some much needed volume.
