I have a Basslink too...a few times already I could've sworn it's died on me. Same problem as yours...power seems to be going to it, but no thump. In my case, it always turned out to be a faulty remote wire. Replacing it always seemed to solve my problem. And it was my fault for the shoddy (and rushed) wiring job, which always ended up getting crimped or grounded somewhere.

Another thing to check is to make sure it's calibrated correctly (check the user's manual, all the settings you need to know are made crystal clear). You've mentioned that you've checked the fuses, but did you also check the fuse on the Basslink itself?

I hope it works out for you man!

make sure "sub" isn't turned off on your radio... i've seen that sooo many times. Otherwise you might just have a blown sub.
