Info on Honda MP3 player needed

be careful about the adaptors, the accord in particular seems to be 1 year ahead in terms of what adaptors work for example
for all 1992-1998 hondas the simple honda pbus-alpine mbus adaptor will work--except for the 98 accord, that car requires the more expensive adaptor for 1999-2002 hondas.
since they made such a large change with the 2003 accord, i'm betting that they changed the interface. if they didn't change the interface then you could hook up the new accord mp3 player into any 1999-2002 honda!
im looked at the install instructions from HandA, honda is in fact using a "bus" cable from the head to the mp3 player--so you'll definately need some kind of adaptor for line-in.
now the next question is if they changed the bus protocol...but if they didn't change it the mp3 player could become a popular way to add mp3 capability to the factory head (even if a little pricey)
i'd definately send HandA an email for details on how the mp3 player works wrt to cd text etc. they might know if the bus protocol changed for the 2003 accord as well.

Yep - that's exactly what I was looking at, and I AM positive that it will work, since I believe the 2003 is the model that it's intended for (it's on the options list). There's not too much info available about it, though, and it's pricey (I'd definitely buy from an online dealer like H and A and install it myself if I were to decide to go that way). I'm assuming that it works through the AUX button on the stero - same as (I assume) the tape deck as in the first picture you posted). I just want to know how the CDs must be burned, and what the display on the stock unit will look like....
