Default installation questions

so i decided it's time to upgrade the sound system. listed below are the items that i picked up. i'm going to get everything installed on saturday and wanted to get the community's opinions on a few things.

first off, where is the ideal spot to install the crossovers? after searching it appears people usually do it in the door or in the trunk.

as far as the amp i was thinking of placing it in the spot next to the spare tire. my question is about bridging. i don't really know if i understand the concept. i was wondering if it was possible to bridge the rear channels to power a sub.

i didn't pick up a sub as i wanted to see if i needed to pickup another amp if my comprehension of bridging was wrong. what do you guys recommend? i'm looking for something that just fits snugly on the side of the trunk.

oh for you bluetooth guys, where did you put your mic? i was thinking of by the visor in the little crevice. and where is the best place to put the unit itself?

thanks in advance for you help.

sure you could bridge it. just take the 2 rear channel speaker outputs and use the 1st and 4th terminals (1 positive, 1 negative)

like so:
...........[[AMP]].............
....(+).(+)....(-)...(-)......
.....^...................^......
......|...................|.......
......|...................|.......
.......\................./........
.........\............./..........
...........\........../...........
...........(+)....(-)...........
...........(( SUB))............

I put dots because when i put spaces, they didn't show...

Scroll down to the bottom, there is a perfect spot to place your door speaker crossovers.

do you think my new setup is going to require a new battery? if so what would you recommend? after searching optima seems like a mixed bag.
