I saw someone who had mounted their DIN unit in their dash, they cut a hole out. I wanted to do the same thing, but with my GPS unit. I don't like having it sticking on the windshield or stuck on the dash. Any help on how to mount it/where to make the hole would be appreciated.

 

Another option is one of Modfry's mounts. I'm getting my car out of storeage today and will be mounting my Tom Tom soon.
