ipod compatablity with s2k stereo system?

Default ipod compatablity with s2k stereo system?

Am just about to take delivery of the newest 2006 uk s2000,no one at the dealership seem sto know if the honda stereo has some kind of input for an ipod as do a lot of cars sucj as the bmw or mini?

Hope someone can help me!! really would like to use my ipod nano with my new beast of a car..

The detailed answer is in the Electronics FAQ, but essentially, yes, it is iPod or any other mp3 player compatible provided you buy the adapter.

Honda will have a OEM accessory called "Music link" available in Febuary. it's a I-pod interface box that plugs into the CD changer port on the OEM radio.

I checked the part availability last week, and IIRC won't be able to order untill after the 1st week in Febuary.

I'm not sure if Honda UK will have the same product. If not there are other I-pod hardwired adapters available.

I asked the same question at my dealer and they freely admit they are the last to hear on these things.

We have had a Pioneer OEM fit in the UK as far as I understand, so could be the same for 06. The best solution I saw (but there could be others) for keeping the OEM fit was the Dension Ice Link Plus but at

I think the "Music Link" is already out I know its on the S2000 section on the Honda site...not sure i guess just check with your local honda dealer
