They cost around $100 (for a good one). Blitzsafe is a good product, as is the Harmon Kardon unit. Should not be too much to install (if the tech has worked on an S before.....or has a manual). You can do it yourself.....would take like an hour tops.

0. Remove center console (unscrew shift knob and just lift it up on the console and it should come).
1. Remove radio door.
2. Remove screws from radio bracket.
3. Pull radio out (unplugging the wiring harness and antenna from the back)
4. Snake the wire where you want it to go (most people run it under the center console, and into the glove box)
5. Plug wire into back to radio. Replug wiring harness and antenna.
6. Replace radio (screwing in the brackets)
7. Replace radio door.
8. Enjoy your iPod!

Are there 2 AV input jacks behind the stock headunit? If so, you could just get a L/R AV cable with a 3.5 mm jack on the other end. Something like this.

you can get the oem honda unit called the "music link". turns your cd changer port to a aux input. i had it, but i never used it and ended up selling it. the install itself looked pretty simple and straight forward.

That is what the blitzsafe products do.
